Christopher In PDN Spotlight

Christopher got a wonderful plug from Ed Han, SVP/Creative Director at Publicis, in the August issue of PDN. As part an interview for the PDN Create Spotlight, Ed was asked, "Who is your dream photographer?," and Ed responded by spotlighting Christopher's photography work along with Rodney Smith and Dana Neibert.
"Rodney Smith is someone I've always admired," Ed said. "Hugh Kretschmer and I have talked a couple of times and I look forward to the day we can make images together. Someone who's come on the scene recently is Christopher Wilson. I find his images refreshing and they have a consistent sensibility."
Wow. To say Christopher was flattered by the article is the understatement of the year. Christopher promised to try and not get a big head about it all.

Christopher Photographs For Nokota Project

As part of an ongoing commitment to document the relentless work of the Kuntz Family to try and save the last remaining wild horses of North Dakota, Christopher spent a week photographing on their ranches just outside of Bismarck. The Nokotas, as these horses are called, are descendants from those belonging to Sitting Bull. It's a powerful, heartbreaking story, and one Christopher hopes to document in order to help bring awareness and much-needed funding to this family's work.
